As I am reading all of these spreadsheet details, I can't help but feel like there's an entire level of genius out there that I can barely perceive, let alone grasp and utilize. Like when Salieri explains that he feels that God has given him just enough talent to appreciate Mozart 's music, but never create such beauty on his own.
When I am keeping tack of visits, I write down who came by on a scrap of paper. If I am not near my scrap of paper, I write on the back of my hand. I don't keep track of what they tapped, or anything else. Not a lot of room on the back of my hand, you see.
Are you that organized about everything else? Are your bills paid on time, and does your house get cleaned in a regular, orderly rotation? I bet you don't stand in front of the fridge each night at 5 while a horde of hungry children mills about your feet and you think, "Hmmm, dinner again? Didn't we just do that? Oh it's been a whole day already? Let's see, we've got celery, ketchup, spaghettios, 3 slices of bread, and Cap' n Crunch!"
Please tell me such organization can be taught?
Bills, yes, cleaning whenever I feel like it, no to 5 children. LOL. Though I do stand in front of the fridge at 5 and think dinner again?? Though my fridge is more stocked than that.
Unfortunately, I think you have to be born with the love of spreadsheets. I don't think it can be learned.
