Ice Princess Martin - quest but didn't buy Ice Castle?

I've got Ice Princess Martin skin from when it was released previously (for free). Had his questline pop up again when the Ice Castle hit the store again.

You can complete the first part (1hr task) but the 2nd part needs the castle. I've got no intention of buying it, & if I recall correctly last time it prompted you to visit the store (but didn't start questline pt.2 until you bought it).

Anyone else get this bug? Any way to kill it from the quest book? Unfortunately it's gonna bug me... :-(

    its not a mistake, its an imprompt to buy the castle. after it'll disappear from store the quest will go away on takedown.

    Yes and no, typically you don't get the quest line if you don't but the item. Plenty of items I don't buy in the average event, but I don't get spammed for them.

    @IckabodSchrek I can't wait for the snowman friend quest, right now he's "showing off his sparkly dress" I'm guessing he befriends a snowman next?
    I love the castle, waited almost 2 years for it. :)

    I love it too. I'm so happy they decided to release it again. Yeah, I think Martin will be there with his snowman permanently in my town..so cool.
    I'm not sure when that quest comes up. It has a nice long quest line/story :)

    so it's not winter any more, but the the ice princess thing is still there. is there any way to get rid of it, since you can't even buy the dang castle anymore????

    I read on another website that it's a bug and hopefully EA is still working to get it fixed. Still showing on mine after the update too.

    Yeah it's annoying. I might just try to sell/repurchase the library just to see if that fixes it.
