Isn't that the cost to speed it up? You have to collect from 8 or 12 restraunts and the speed up cost is a donut.

Um.....there's a donut confirmation button. You just have to turn it on. Go into the buy menu and tap the little "i", and it will open the option.
Edit....it came with the Whacking Day Update. I'm surprised you didn't know about it.
