To be fair, EA are the ones that advertised it in the store menu, and plenty of people were saying it was intentional or something along those lines

It was obvious it wasn't intentional... at the very least it didn't scale with all the other items for sale like the car, which was worth less real estate but was the same price in terms of the statues.

Already answered you above, but you have like a day and a half. Keep going, as the game will likely force you to update next time it would ask you to login in.

the tennis courts are no longer buyable but the ones you own are still there with the multiplier... and you can't enter the game without updating anyway

Sure, but you should have 64 doughnuts with the rebate. Wiggum should now pay premium character rates. Does he have a funny quest line?

Oktoberfest Gate is 25 donuts for a 2% multipler - great buy.

Can someone explain what the deal actually entails?
I'm seeing the IRS drone but other than that I didn't see any other details.
