- I hate Greta and that prep school. I have the beer tree and a stack of beer. I almost didn't get the last one because my Brandine was pregnant and couldn't finish the quest.

To be fair, EA are the ones that advertised it in the store menu, and plenty of people were saying it was intentional or something along those lines
It was obvious it wasn't intentional... at the very least it didn't scale with all the other items for sale like the car, which was worth less real estate but was the same price in terms of the statues.
Exactly. And it was clearly not intentional because if it had been they would not have changed the info text so it did not say 2.25%. They didn't have time for the final fix because they were dealing with the take-down issues. Also, they did that text change almost immediately. Since we knew that EA knew, there wasn't any reason to keep it quiet.
I might be a bit of a conspiracy nut here, but maybe it was intentional sort of easter-egg? Or at least they were slow to fix it on purpose. Keep players excited and engaged here on the forums plus its fodder for the TSTO fan sites that have grown to be a cottage industry all on their own. Those in the know get rich and * out their towns, making noob neighbors a bit jealous and wanting for donuts. I also think that's why they took so long to fix the stackables glitch way back when...
Anyways, just my thought. I'll go put my foil hat away now :)- YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boardwalk Fountains are back and no longer unique!!! I only mentioned that I wished I had the chance to get more the other week and now here they are :D I wonder if EA read my post???

Ohh, rebate on Greta. She's the only premium kid I don't have yet, and I'm thinking (or hoping) they may all come in handy for Trick-or-Treating. How much is her base cost, 170? The game only says 50 donuts off...- Anyone else a little gutted that the broad walk fountain item is no longer a limited item?

I once had a colleague who wore a hat to work lined with foil. Not kidding. :)

Nope, I now have 9 :) Later today I'll make them activate at different times. I've been waiting for a long time to be able to have multiple fountains. I'm very, very pleased they made it a nonunique item.KillaSqirl wrote:

It's 180 donut base cost.
So still pretty expensive... but I'm buying it with the rebate.- Some nice stuff.. and a few more things to unlock in the next few days. When I saw Oktoberfest, I hoped for a Stonecutters-esque long table to recreate a German beer hall area. Oh well, benches and cobblestone walls will do for now.
