You're spot on, but when cash reserves start running low, I don't sell them I just leave them where they are, collect income from them for a few days to boost my cash, then I start selling and rebuilding all over again.
I usually have work on around 200 KEM's so it's expensive work ;)
if you have 200 KEMS it might be why you are low on cash :P
