- The devs have already commented on the demand, and put out little polls for farming on Twitter, so I'd guess yes at some point. Might be a game pack rather than an expansion, but I think something's coming. Plus, they'd have to be crazy not to have noticed the success of Stardew Valley in the last few years, and want to try to get in on that somehow.
- Who knows, they've never added one before. But I feel like after the mess of last year they've started listening to players wants more, so it's possible they might add it for those who want it. I'm expecting it to be a game pack if it ever does happen, not enough content for an EP imo.
- LoanetRising ScoutKeeping in mind that Gardening is a big chunk of what Frarming's about and we have that down pat. What people want is animals.

I agree that animals is more important than more plants, but I would lovesome feature implying growing larger fields - such as corn mats covering 10x10 or more. If we get a tractor there could even be a way for a farm to own sub fields (extra lots) where we could add the kind of grass/corns etc we want to grow. I think that would look more massive than 10 single plants in two rows in a backyard ;)
EP or GP or SP - well, I can think of content that would hardly get room in an EP. We might be happy with a cow and a sheep, but we could also harvest wool to make yarn (not possible for knitting as we never need to buy that yard we use), cows allows for making butter and cheese. Canning and nectar making, and a farmer's market. They could also add family tribe heirlooms as old farms have often been on the same family's hands for many generations - there could be old secret recipes or secret magical ingredients that can only be obtained through heritage. They could expand on ways to benefit from windmills and water collectors etc. There could be a sales/show off event where you can sell/buy farm animals. And so on... ;) "crocobaura;c-17784802" wrote:
If they bring farming I hope they add crafting stations that help reduce the amount of vegetables we have while producing something of bigger value. Like the fizzy juice machine, it should have required 2 apples to produce 1 bottle of fizzy apple juice, and 12 apples to produce the 6 bottle pack. My sim has 70 apples and it's going to take forever to turn them all into fizzy juice and then try to sell them as juice with the current setup of 5 apples producing 6 bottle of juice. There isn't much apple juice in those drinks if you ask me.
Also, I don't want large farms as it takes forever to go from one end of the lot to the other. Instead of a tractor maybe we could get a smaller machine, more suitable to a smaller farm.
The sims would really benefit from a better farm to table path. There needs to be a farm to store sale option. It takes so long to tend produce that there is no time for a farmer to also sell that produce. These are two different stages but there is no good link between the two. A bulk farm purchase option, for a store to gain access to produce would be wonderful. From the store, produce can be purchased to produce other goods.- SuperSillySimNew Rookie1. I DO NOT want horses in a farming pack. They will not be very well done and a huge disappointment. There are so many other ways to make horses fun in their own pack and I would hate for our one shot at horses be nerfed by shoving then in a farm pack.
Plus, in a separate pack, we get more farm stuff like crafting and canning and other farm related things.
Animals are the best part of this world I bet they can be the best part in the Sims 4 too.

Not just keeping them for item drops, but being able to bond with them. We can bond with bees and dolphins, it would be great to see a version of that. Being nice to them and taking care of their needs will improve the quality of their offerings, while ignoring them will cause them to get sick, stop producing and possibly even die.
Bonus if we can get animal competitions, like comparing hog sizes at a county fair. - Erja888Rising NoviceI'd love a framing pack for TS4.
I'd love to have a chicken choop to collect eggs and cows to have milk. Maybe pigs which "give" meat would be fun too. A farmer's market where our famrer Sims can sell their goods would be great to have as well. New stuff for gardening and more things to do with what our Sims harvest. Making jams and preserves, making nectars of different qualities. Not to forget the addition of nice rural CAS and B/B items.
