Yeah I was definitely surprised. Nice jabs at our constitution. You dipweeds! Seems like I just can't escape idioctic neo-liberalism, even when playing a silly video game.
Neo-Liberalism? When did that term come about? I would say it is pretty old fashioned liberalism.elrocky718 wrote:

I can see how you'd feel that way, but that's not really where I'm coming from in asking the question. You can buy any number of games that will feed your political point of view, but this is The Simpsons; we expect it to be funny (this really isn't) and, when political, chiding and evenhanded. It's just so far out of character I have to wonder how it made it into the game.Burnin_TODI wrote:

You would be surprised at how many "liberals" are for the right to bear arms....
At this point in my life, very little surprises me actually.- lol @ every post in this thread pretty much.

I didn't find it political but thought it was very insensitive and not funny at all...esp quotes like abe saying I'm leaving soon and I want to take some people with me...
This entire quest has made me a little uncomfortable.
I don't remember seeing that :?NeoSEC28 wrote:

When you have grampa's task he says that he atleast want to take some people with him- this quest is pretty much how people in the UK view the lunacy of the USA's right to bear arms.

Was that task at the beginning of the Quests? Really don't remember this at all lol Think I need a coffee - Do the people that are moaning about this task line even watch the show?? The Simpsons has always come close to the wire in the past and aslong as the Simpsons is around it will take serious issue and put a spin on them. People need to take the comments for what they are serious issues with a twist of comic relief highlighting the stupid/funny aspects of these issues.
- The end story between them is like the Toronto maple leafs excuse for losing game seven. Kind of pathetic when the captain says ya we screwed up we got to cocky believing we already won 4 - 1 no big we have 15 minutes to waste. Oh crap we lost oh well. Just like EA stating ya we know level 30 sucked and that we just screwed the pooch but here's 3 donuts don't complain maybe well do better for level 31
