- Once you get the shuttle, it doesn't cost you any more in-game cash because Krustyland has its own currency. It's not terribly exciting, though, except for the possible free donuts at Sideshow You. I never went out of my way to send characters on tasks there or anything. The place is really... kind of an afterthought. But hey, I do like the 25 donuts I've gotten so far.

Krustyland is really almost completely independent from Springfield, aside from the fact that you can only use a specific character in one or the other (eg Bart can't be put on simultaneous tasks in both). The currency is unrelated (tickets instead of dollars) and the star ratings are different and independent as well. You can eventually convert tickets into SF cash, but it isn't really worth much. I rarely go to my Krustyland anymore at all - there is a carnival game that does pay the odd donut, so once in a while I take a crack at it.
For me, KL is sort of like a spinoff. If I were as far along as you, I'd finish all the SF quests and levelling first. Then when you're out of stuff to do or are bored waiting for an event to start, head on over to KL and get building.
Hope that helps! Give my best to Sanjay.
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I had no idea cash was not needed for KL at all. I knew the tickets were used, but didn't realize they were used for everything. Appreciate the info.neuroheart wrote:

Thank you as well. As I stated above, I didn't realize tickets completely took the place of cash. That basically answers the entire reason I posted this thread. :P- jukan00New SpectatorWhen I get "writer's block" in my SF I use KL as a sort of retreat to do some designing there. I try to make it look nice and fun but when it's all said and done it isn't as important to me as my SF by far.
- only a mistake for waiting because the amount of tickets to build the rides and such are quite hefty, soo the sooner you start the better off you are! gogoogoggo!!
- 4junk3000New SpectatorI went to KL for a couple weeks while i was focused on only buying land in SF. I took all 14 of the people i had who would come to KL, and put them on hourly missions while i designed in there non stop. It doesn't take that long to collect tix if you focus your efforts.
My KL is not big, nor premium, but somehow i did a good enough job to get it stickied in the show case. So stop over there to see what you can do without even acquiring all the land, which i still don't have yet.
But once KL is done, it's just a daily check point like any other feature. It's still very fun to design, particularly if you like theme parks or county fairs. I did mine like a Six Flags but i also like the smaller scale fair style with more grass then pavement.
Have fun with it! - Thanks for the info everyone. Much appreciated. Now that I know KL doesn't eat up my cash flow and I have most of the quests completed, I have officially started. :)

Blimey!! I'm still trying to get my 1st 5donuts
KL is defo an after thought for me i hardly ever visit there now, mainly cos i always forget about it- Just try to make the quests and visit everytime you are in SF because you save up tickets then when the time comes you have nothing to do in SF you allready have tickets to buils out your KL. It did not do that so my guys spend hours, weeks, months to do 24h tasks to get tickets to buy all rides and land.
So if you hit everytime you play KL its better :P NeoSEC28 wrote:

Hardly ever visiting isn't the best strategy for getting the donuts :P I play two or three games of Sideshow You per day, and have since I found out donuts were a possibility, thanks to this forum. I'm reminded to go every time I bet on Springfield Downs. (I think I've also gotten the jackpot there about five times, now that I think about it.)
