- I am over 10K and will keep visiting my neighbors that have goo for the global total.
I am Very Sorry to the neighbors that I have been 'clearing' their haunted houses and stealing the goo. I didn't realise this happens until reading the forum today. It explains why I have so few haunted houses.
I love this game and I love all the great forums on here and the great people, I am a donut addict and am ashamed to admit the hundred$ I have spent on this awesome game.
Does anyone know a way I can use android to remove inactive friends? rwvolture wrote:
why would you not want free donuts? every 2,000 goo AFTER the 10,000. Forget the prizes I want donuts

You can't on Android.
Download the Origin program for PC or Mac, and you can manage your friend list on that. Just google, 'Origin download'
By the way, welcome to the forum :) - I had 25 carefully chosen neighbours when Halloween came out. I added 60 more neighbors, got 10000 Goo and then removed all but the few new neighbours I actually liked. Fair? To me it was. Because I play for the fun of it, and visit neighbours for inspiration. Not to provide to the community. They will get their goo without my help anyway. I provide to the community by sharing and commenting on the forum :)
- Oh, and about the community prizes; I believe (and hope) it's rigged by EA so I don't believe my participation will change anything :)
- BGringoNew SpectatorI think it's up to the user to stop. I don't think it would make a difference.
I'll keep visiting even though I finished the 10K this week. It's free XP, which leads to donuts and Goo which leads to donuts. indys2nd wrote:
Right now I'm looking at my neighbors who are not at 10,000 yet and dropping gremlins when I can. Not sure if I'm going to continue to visit neighbors daily those who are finished like me. It takes really long to visit this many people. I hate when the game locks up and I'm in a town. Then I have to close the app and go back and scroll though the friends screen.
I'm curious for those who are done with the update, if they still expect daily visits.
Here the same, got 10000 last night, but still visiting neighbours, helping them a hand to get their target, so thzts why I shall drop only gremlins to towns with less than 10000 ! And. Th less they have the more gremlins they get.
I am always trying to be a good neighbour, even not being so active on the forum anymore - I'm past 10K myself, nearing 15K actually, and I am trying to reach 30K (this may be a bit of a hairy goal, but if I don't get my neighbours to visit I'm chanceless)...
My incentive is to get 30 free donuts, and of course contributing towards the community goals. I will be a bit dissapointed in neighbours not visiting when they themselves have completed the goals... Actually my neighbours list isn't quite full after I did let some neighbours go that had not started Halloween more than a week in.
The first week of the Halloween update was crazy, suddenly nearly all my neighbours visited daily, now that about half of them are finished, I have less than 40% visiting. Many of which never visit in between events either, so I am actually going to cut my neighbours down even more, since I want active neighbours...
@OP: It is however a game you are free to play as you want. Some will get dissappointed you don't visit them, others couldn't care less. So I guess, if you stop, you might loose a few, but probably nothing you can't handle :) If you don't want to visit, then of course don't do it :) - I am one of the "slackers" who does not have 10K yet. I assure you I play every day, multiple times. I just don't have 100 friends, and some of my friends are not participating (can't figure out why). But, I am moving along at a nice pace and will be done ahead of schedule. This is, though because of all of my friends who visit. If my over 10K friends stop visiting, my potential for finishing will go way down.

I would suggest that while it may seem like you are being benevolent by visiting your friends with low goo counts, those with 10k+ are the more active players, and the ones more likely to help achieve the community goals. So help your friends out with low counts, but also help those who have been actively playing to rack up the goo (and hopefully they are returning the favor)... I think we are off pace to get the top prize.
That being said, if you notice that some friends with 10k+ have stopped trying and are no longer visiting you, and you are trying to prioritize, by all means stop visiting them too.
I actually believe, that unless you know that some of those with low GOO-counts have been away for two weeks, doing whatever, or that those with low GOO counts are going to be online just when you give them GOO, that you are actually "wasting" your GOO...
What I mean isn't that you loose GOO, because that's not possible. Most likely you'll instead get 4 GOO for every gremlin you intended to be a help to people with less GOO. The point is, you are wasting your gremlins which were intended to help out others. Giving gremlins to people with low GOO counts most likely won't help them, but give you 4 GOO.
