his car are profitable building or just vanity? i think it's a big turn-off if not... 120d for just a premium character doesn't make my cut.

I think he's worth it. His quest line is entertaining, he has some great visual tasks, and his car contributes to your bonus multiplier (2.75%, I think...) I'm not a completionist (no way my bank account would support it) but I have no regrets about buying him. :)

If you like his episode then you'll appreciate him, but I suppose if you liked it enough you wouldn't ask if he's worth it.

Or if you're just a fan of hobos, I'd get him. His visible tasks are him sleeping under a newspaper on a bench and begging for change on the street.

He kind of shakes things up a bit, what with his theatrically hobo-ish appearance and all.

The rocket car provides minimal amusement, but apparently gives you a 2% payout increase.

Also another character that earns money. Every little bit helps & speeds things up as the price of buildings reaches a million or more.

I think he is. Having a town hobo in Springfield makes your town a bit more realistic. If you're into eccentric, crazy, elderly, homeless, drunk, or random characters like: Crazy Cat Lady, Hans Moleman, Dr. Nick or Barney (who I haven't purchased yet, but really want) like I am, go for it. I like the town weirdos and I think Chester fits that bill. He's cool and I like that he can sleep on a bench or panhandle. Like I said, it makes for a more realistic Springfield (most towns the size of Springfield have at least a couple homeless around). That episode is a classic too. All the classic seasons' characters are worth it, in my opinion (seasons 1-10).
