Buying jewelry

With the new pack, is it possible to buy jewelry on Plopsy? What about on sales tables operated by NPCs (for example, on a Marketplace lot)?

This might determine whether I get the pack, since I play a large rotational save and most sims won’t become jewelers, but I’d love if they could go “shopping” for new jewelry!

If you own Get For Work you can have a retail store selling jewelry.

Jewellers can sell their crafted stuff on Plopsy, but I have not yet seen any way to buy Jewelry on Plopsy.

Jewellers can sell on he sales table, but there is no way to buy from it. When you can buy stuff from NPCs at the market, I think it is mainly items from the collections. I doubt jewelry count as a collection as there would be more than 1000 possible unique items.

Jewellers can gift a piece of jewels to any sim though, so if you want the benefiter to be charged money, you can arrange that in other ways (ie gifting money).

Thanks for the information @Simmerville. I was hoping that some random pieces would come up on plopsy, like the knitted items and paintings/cross-stitch do, but maybe I’ll set up a retail store instead.

I just found that the latest patch made it possible to gift jewelry as "friendly gift". It was not possible prior to the patch. It makes it a lot easier to have a Jewel crafter "deliver" goods to customers. You can just pretend a shopping situation, not really needing the retail feature for this. Unless the restore action will be a time saver, of course.
