Is Jesse worth it?

Yes: in terms of Monorail as long as you can still make tracks then, he's your guy, the dude can do all 4 stations: Junk, Metal, Plastic and Glass, Hippie only has three stations and Lisa two both with no premium payouts.

No: in terms of this event, not faster or larger quantities crafted by him, it simply makes you do less cycles.
Kinda like adding a small weight to your weightlifitng, you may not notice it but it does do a little something, something.
In the short term though...i reserve judgement until we find out whether this is a permanent or limited time event.

As long as you started it im sure you can finish it, but if not then 1 more character to send doesnt hurt does it?

It appears that staggering doesn't work here. I tried it on level 2... sent Jesse in to get my last 10 for that level. 10 mins later it would not let me put my other characters in for their tasks (tried both the tree and the character's task list).

Ahh, bummer...oh well, 144 hours it is!

Not sure if this was mentioned elsewhere, but he doesn't have a timer...is he now going to be available permanently?

He has three visual tasks (1 is collecting garbage). Unless you don't include those as good visuals, though I do because they all have little details to look for.

He has been very useful because the other characters that work on monorail often get sent to other tasks. I like to finish this part early. I finished my monorail completely a couple of months ago.

Jesse's value is actually more valuable on the recycling tasks, since he can recycle all 4 items, trash, metal, plastic, and glass. Jesse can reduce a 4 day grind for 5 donuts to 2 days, and at 100 donuts, cheaper than the other premium characters that can only recycle 1 item. Jesse can gather fertilizer for the redwood tree after you get the 5 donuts for the week.

Too late, but he's going to permanently on recycle duties so it's no biggie :lol:

I got him for the Railyard as much as anything. Helping with the Redwood is just gravy.

I think this is a consensus across the board!

I think he's worth it just because I loved Pacey/Joshua Jackson when I was younger. Not that he's voiced (I think), but still, that's who I associate him with.

It depends.

Disregard Dewey Largo - making 50 glass per 3hrs is a lot, especially when you can only have 70+ in storage.
You need awards less than pills (and also you end up "losing" 5 pills/hr when making awards, due to the task lengths), so for SH I'd prioritise Jasper for his pill-making ability.

As they won't always be doing those special earning tasks, go for the character etc. you like better.
- Jasper comes with a building, but it barely gets used (if at all). His outdoor tasks are quite good, but he's 50 donuts more expensive.
- Jesse has great outdoor tasks (loved the KrustyBurger one... until EA stuffed up the animation) and he's cheaper, but he's not as well-known as Jasper & doesn't come with a building.
