These stacking "glitches" have been in the game long enough that EA could have removed them if they saw a problem. They don't lose EA any money, so I see no real or ethical problem with utilizing them. Hacking and cheating to get donuts is a different story and is cheating.
Hacking is cheating yes
but if there is a glitch that is in game that can give you free donuts why is that wrong.
where is the line drawn?
using the tile glitch give you lots of XP which gives you donuts as well.
The line is drawn at actively manipulating the code of the game to get donuts. Anything that happens within the game through no fault of your own due to apathy, error, or by EA's design is perfectly legit as far as I'm concerned.
This. Especially the statement in bold. Actively manipulating the games' code is like pro-athletes taking steroids or hormones to get an extra edge.
I agree. Even so, Last year about this time there was a "harp glitch" with the bonus level up that kept players from logging in. Finally there was a way to get out of it and get some extra donuts, too, if you did it right. I think it was just compensation for all the aggravation.
