Is the Faberge egg REALLY rare?
I got mine in less than 24 hours of completing the event but it wasn't from the bunnies from harvesting carrots.

Yep! :-D- Judging by your comments, it seems that some people get very lucky and get them quickly and others aren't so lucky and get their's later. Anyway, that rules out my theory! :-\
- Mine appeared in about 2 ½ days. Did you all know that a bunny comes out when you tap it?

BTW, I was told that you could only have one ... Or maybe they said you could only display one. I do know from people who have a free one that as soon as you get a free one, the 100 donut Faberg? egg disappears from your list of available stuff to buy.
Did it disappear from your purchase menu? If so, doesn't seem logical that you can't win a second free one? If they allow you to have multiples, wouldn't they like to get donuts? (There I go again. Attributin "logic" to EA.)- mine appeared 3 hours after I finish the quest

- I have a main town and 2 side towns. I bought baskets in my main town (only town I pay money for donuts) and have had less baskets appear in this town from my bunnies than in my side towns.
I finsished the quest in all 3 towns consecutively yesterday. I just harvested carrots in all 3 towns. Received the Faberge egg in both side towns, but not in my main town.
My theory:
EA knows which towns will spend money for donuts and which won't. If you buy donuts with cold hard cash (well, credit card), expect to buy the Faberge egg too. I'll wait for a few days before I break down and buy the stupid egg.
BTW- my side towns have their main color box completed and most of the opposite color box done. My main town has a long way to go with all 3 boxes. Donna4612 wrote:

Plausible theory. But if I don't get it from the bunnies I'll not buy it. For those who want to have it I'd recommend to wait for the last couple of days.
