Rare ROM brooms and wands - help!

I haven't gotten any of the rare ones either. Have you tried searching for tomes? I found a rare familiar that way once. But, yeah, I'm thinking the randomizer is a little unbalanced.

@DaWaterRat Glad it's not just me. I've found all the rare tomes but just no wands or brooms. So annoying.

I think this is a bug - I just submitted it. Let's see how many years it takes for them to fix it, lol.

I understand if you don't use mods though, but I thought I'd share in case you do.

Thanks for the fyi. I want to play this family without cheats/mods.

I have the same problem but it's wands only. I have found everything else, but for whatever reason not a single rare wand is showing up in my game. I don't use any mods in my game.

Macie Poe's clone Crystal has moved in and with help from mccc has become a lover. She just took Macie, and Cassandra Goth out for New Year's Eve. She has also held her own meet and greet.

My sim won this wand in a duel.

I have the same problem. My collector witch who visits Diagon Alley every day has bought eight of the ten wands from the shop there, but the missing two (Wand of the Forgotten, I believe, and the Elemental Wand) as well as the recolours of all the others are never in stock. I've tried duelling for them, but always lose, even against newcomers (yet another thing the developers should probably look into), and sent my pet familiars to look for magical artefacts, but all they ever bring back is a broom, and the same one every time. Speaking of brooms, I've also never seen the crystal broom in stock.

I just realized I made a misstatement in my previous post, it's not the rare wands missing, it is 100% of the recolors. I've been able to collect all of the brooms including recolors and all of the original wands. I win duels. None of the wand recolors ever show up.
