Is the Halloween update destined to be a huge disappointment?

That's one thing that never disappoints in these forums. The people thinking that having some of the older limited items give them status somehow (as if most players could even see them), and that limited items equals one-time-only, literally flood this forum...

Yep. They're just children who want to be a part of the Kool Kidz Klub with their limited time items. I guess they never learned to share.

Well, at least they are fulfilling everything we've come to expect from Apple drones.

You can understand limited time to mean one time only but you would be wrong. Plain and simple. Just because you read it very poorly doesn't change the fact that limited time =/= one time only. And how exactly is putting your duff racer in front of the duff brewery supposed to bother me? I'm not your neighbor. In fact, if you change your town because of me it just shows that I'm in your head. Anyway, enjoy your kool klub with the other children under 10.

How you read stuff is irrelevant. It's the meaning EA put behind it that counts. I suppose EA have seen their huge potential for extra income if they do let some old limited items reappear (if not by other means, they must atleast have learnt that from gamezino). Therefore I am almost sure we're bond to see some items reappear.

By the way, your post reeks of sarcasm, but still, I can't help but think that you ACTUALLY take some pride in having an item JoshSheerer doesn't have. Though as sad as that is, hopefully that makes you feel like a complete person. Furthermore I hope your world won't come crashing down hard on it's face if suddenly given enough time, regular players could get most of the previous limited stuff you already have...

Anything that was released last year that was "Limited Time" should stay retired. The exception to that rule is Fat Tony and obviously Kang. And that's because they are huge recurring characters.

You can't release Legs & Louie & not have Fat Tony be a part of that update. Same goes for Kodos. You can release her without re-releasing Kang as well.

That's a bad opinion that you have there. There is no reason to keep them retired. I can come up with many good reasons for them to return though.

I'm not the one who made an assumption. You made one. And you were wrong, as proven by Fat Tony. I did not say it's seasonal. That's another assumption you made and were wrong about. I said it is limited time, which is exactly what it is. I said that limited time =/= one time only. This has been proven in pretty much every media that uses the phrase "limited time" and then bring it back later on. There's nothing vague about it. It means it is available right now for a limited time only. It doesn't mean it's available right now for a limited time only and is never going to return ever again. You can hope I'm wrong all you want, but the fact is that I did not make any assumptions. I read the phrase exactly as it is defined. You made an incorrect assumption. Even if they never bring any of the Halloween stuff back ever again, "limited time" will still NEVER mean "one time only" for so long as the English language remains as it currently is. Get over it.

You guys are starting to spin your wheels a bit and rehashing the same argument over and over.

Either form a new one or time to move on, OK?

Also, let's try and becareful to not start attacking one another.
