- I gave up doing this a long time ago... but I am happy I get the occasional 5 donuts pop up on screen from just collecting from the little Lisa recycling plant :)
- I got Little Lisa's plant just last month so this is working great for me. I just collect the blueprints from that and don't have to worry about having characters free. I don't know if this is permanent or just for the event, but I'm enjoying it while it's here.

Ever since the monorail began, I have done the recycling jobs every single week even when I no longer needed tracks. It became a sort of addiction for me. I got a sense of accomplishment when I completed it for the week. Now that it is endless, I am no longer compelled to do this anymore. It took the fun out of it because I enjoyed sending and watching the recyclers scurry about doing their jobs and stocking up for the next week. I no longer feel the the compulsion to do this anymore because I don't need more tracks and there are easier eays to earn donuts. Glad the monkey is off my back. Also it will help newer players get more tracks and donuts. I'm done with it unless I am really, really bored.
Ditto. I have exactly the same feeling about it. You summed it up perfectly.- It's even worse when you just get metal Large projects over and over and over. It's tedious popping in every hour or so to gather another 90 or so metal , eventually earning 160 or whatever, only to have the new Large project require another 160+ metal. But you grind through and get your donuts, only to encounter another string of metal projects.
Having pizza once a week is fun and something to look forward to. Working at a pizza place and having unlimited access to free pizza will take away your joy of pizza. "stinkbugger;c-1773991" wrote:

Mine is endless but there are no donuts. :/
what what what?! I'm getting 5 each time.- I'm now onto round #11 since this started for me last week. It's a pain to log in so frequently, so I'm usually glad when glass is in demand as it almost syncs with 4hr event tasks.
Still, 40 extra donuts (so far) above the usual in just over a week is nothing to sneeze at. Pre-loading for Xmas!! (And the "bonut" thresholds for Halloween suck, so at least this compensates!!) - Part of the weekly joy was also refilling each recycling place to its max. Yesterday I decided not to do another round of tracks this week. Instead, I focused on refilling all the places. There's nothing complex about it, but it's fun to balance things out to ensure that you end up with 155/70 glass or whatever. And then it's satisfying knowing your recycling places are ready for when the railyard opens the following week.
I miss that aspect from the always-open railyard. "daved7637397;c-1775541" wrote:

I love the way you all managed to sneak open another railyard thread, but maybe EA got sick of people banging on about it every Tuesday so just said 'Sod it' and opened it up to 'do it whenever you feel'... Or maybe perhaps the servers were getting strained on a Tuesday with everyone starting a new week... who knows!..
As for me, I think I mentioned that I took a 'break from my break' as it helped me get rid of a huge mountain of trash and I gained about 25D, now I've decided to not bother with it again and don't even play the drone game anymore, therefore won't build up any trash... to be fair I wasn't actually playing that game for trash but to keep my Smart Devices ticking along, so the trash overfill was just an added extra..
At least if I end up at a loose end it will always be there should I want to play it again... :)
Wait the drone game give out smart devices?
*runs to go check*
Wow I have over 1100 of them. Who would have known! Thanks fellow Dave!

Funny, Im kinda the opposite, but similar. I stopped a while ago but for some odd reason felt compelled to start again when it became endless. After about 8 or so times through, I had enough once again and stopped. Now I just let Little Lisa do all the work!
I did the railyard 5 times last week before I got sick of it. I've been thinking about getting Lisa's Recycling plant for this very reason + I like the looks of that building.
I've been thinking about the plant as well since the Rail Yard became endless.
I'm not quite sure how it works though. Does it just make blueprints by itself and fill up the Rail Yard for you?
Yup. Thats exactly what it does. You just have to tap it every 4 hours just like any other building. I havent sent anyone to the recycling buildings in over a week, since my last reset. Im up to 15K blueprints since then
Sounds more and more tempting. I think the new grind burned me up, Fishy Plant, here I come :D
