Is there a limit to the premium item bonus?
Test with Gulp'nBlow, it'll be a lot more accurate.

I dont think there is. If there is a limit, it's really high. Mine is at about 500% now, and has increased a lot since Whacking Day started, since I bought a few logs, speakers, stumps, and rocks.
