Is there a pattern to winning springfield downs?

Personally, I had no luck at all sticking with the first dog. Didn't win nearly enough to make up for what I was betting. Had very little luck sticking with Dogbiscuit, it was kind of a wash. (I also tried a few other techniques that were even worse.)
Since seeing this thread about a week ago, I decided to try the 5-1 odds every time. So far, that's been working fairly well, as I've won three and lost four, which puts me ahead. Still hasn't made up for everything I lost before, but I'm becoming slightly less bitter about the Downs. We'll see how well it holds, longer term.
(It does seem to be different for everyone.)

There is no pattern I am aware of, but when my 4 year old daughter picks the dog (her favorite thing in the game) she wins at least 75% of the time.

I would be a very bad dad if I brought her to a real racing track, wouldnt I? ;)


P.S. I have managed to win the longshot 3 times so far.

Raised by wolves everytime for me...... sofar I am well up having had two jackpots and loads of other wins.

I used to just bet on the big win, when the update first changed the odds i won the 200,000 twice, fairly close together. I haven't won since and recently changed my tactics now i just bet on Raised by Wolves every time and it seems to be working better for me, i have won twice this week

I bet the first one till i win then start betting the second then back to the first one and so forth, was winning pretty consistently until halloween update. now its appears they made it harder to win again.

In the few months ive been playing I have won the 99-1 bet 3 times. It was a span of a few days between the 1st two. 2-1 wins a good majority of the time I've noticed.
