Is there any way to save Tapped Out so I don’t lose everything?

I'm thinking hard about whether I want to take high-res screenshots, stitch them all together and print out the map to hang on my wall. 

At least that way I can mentally wander the streets and check out the buildings and characters I've spent over a decade putting together.
