Is TSTO appropriate for a 9 year old?
I wouldn't let anyone under the age of 11 or 12 play it...some of the content and jokes are a bit too mature for a 9 year old but not so much for an 11 or 12 year old.

No. My daughter is 9 and I won't let her play it because of the dialogue and the things the characters say. I also don't let her watch the show. It's very very hard explaining too her that a cartoon can be inappropriate! :shock:
