Tbh when it comes to completing this event, I think strategy plays a bigger role than time.
I work and I study at university, yet I was able to get all prizes for all three phases with 4-5 days to spare, plus I've been able to craft the queen, hugo, grand pumpkin, 2 pumpkin houses, 2 spooky houses, 2 huts, and a ton of bushes, spooky walls and test tubes (like at least 10 for each and 20+ walls)
I honestly don't believe I completed the event because of the amount of time I spent. I'd log in maybe 6 or 7 times a day, 3 times of trick or treating, and 3-4 to squish rigellians and do one round of neighbors.
It's all about how you use your time spent online. Login, then let the screen stay on your landing space for 1-2 minutes so all the rigellians come to you and squish them all at once. Repeat this (I'd prepare dinner and do other things in the background) to make sure all the rigellians get squished.
Remember when your kids are done trick or treating so you can quickly set them to a new cycle and get 3 cycles a day.
It's not so much about logging in a lot and spending a lot of time on the game. Cause once the kids are trick or treating and all the rigellians are squished, there's no point staying online. Rather, it's all about how you spend the time online and what strategies you use and how structured you are in your progress.
Your strategies are all dependent on having the ability to log in. If someone doesn't have the ability to log in they can't do those things. That's the whole point. If I'm at work I can't log in and do anything you suggested.
You wake up in the morning, that's 1 login (6-7 am)
Arrive at work, that's 2. (8 am)
Break at work, that's 3. (12 pm)
After work, 4. (4 pm)
Arriving home, 5. (5-6 pm)
Later that evening, 6 (9-10 pm)
One last time before sleep, 7 (11-12 am)
