Newb question... can the '8700' warning be turned off?
Afraid not. :(
Thanks for that. It’s a bit irritating that warning, mostly ‘cause I often like to play with the audio up and the accompanying sound is pretty jarring. - What is the cap for currency? I remember reading somewhere that once you reach a certain amount of in-game cash it starts rolling backwards.

From the tips thread:
As at 28th March 2017, the maximum money a user can have is $4.294.967.295.

When you hit this number the games doesn't show negative numbers: your cash counter turns red and won't increase anymore. The game also cracks a couple of jokes, Easter egg style. "Canuck959;c-1976786" wrote:

The cap is currently $4,294,967,295 (i.e., FFFFFFFFH). No, igc does not roll back once this cap is reached.
However, some years in the past, the developers had stored igc as a signed rather than unsigned int, making the cap at that time $2,147,483,647. Once this cap was surpassed, the value started to display as a negative integer.- Castiel_ToukSeasoned NewcomerI never hit the cap yet which is very surprising with all the items I used.
- LoanetRising ScoutWhile I'm no more gleeful about an item cap than the next player, I think it may be there for a reason - in case of lag.
Still, it wouldn't be so bad if there was a way to tell how many items you have in your town.
I have this sneaking suspicion (PURE conspiracy) that EA doesn't count Premium items towards item cap. - @Loanet I'm sorry to tell you all premium items count towards the item limit. :#
- Yeah agree that there should be somewhere you can check to know how many items you have.
Also do larger items take up more space? I feel like we’ve had a lot of larger items in recent events - playground in badlands event, and a lot of the international buildings like bucking ham palace, etc.
Plus itchy and scratchy land and now the zoo have some bigger item that take up more space.
I’ve said before -theitem limit is killing the enjoyment for me,which after 6 years of playing is really disappointing - Thanks everyone for the helpful responses.
- Well I am at the limit again... :#
Fingers crossed for adding another 100 or more for act 2. Bad call EA surely you knew a zoo would need more than 100 items. Goodbye to all my walls.
