Jessica Lovejoy quest trouble

I got Jessica Lovejoy in the kids mystery box this go around and I can't get past the tap on Homer ten times. I looked up to see if anyone had this problem and tried the suggestions I found. Was wondering if anyone recently got her and is having the same problem or has another solution I could try before contacting EA to see what they can tell me. Thanks!

    Homer needs to be out on town, idle, or on a visual task. Easiest way is to send him on his 45 second task, and tap him 10 times extremely quickly.

    Tapping him fast! Thanks you two, that did the trick. I was tapping him slowly or closing out the status bar thing then tapping him again.

    I had trouble too and tried numerous things. Tapping really fast while his task window is open worked for me.

    Yeah, I was tapping him, closing out the task window and then tapping him again. It wasn't till the first two posters said tapping him fast that I finally got it.
