That if you do what I do when you start up the weekly Rail Yard tasks and send all your characters on long tasks to get them out of the way (and make a little cash) that there might just possibly be a new event starting today. So you might not want to send all your characters on 24 hour tasks (like I started doing but then thought "Hmmmm" and sent the rest on 12 hour tasks instead).

I usually don't put any characters on regular tasks for the first 12 hours of Rail Yard, unless all three recycling centers are full of activity. Otherwise everything gets out of whack.But now I only have 24 hours left to decide if I should buy donuts for the first time in nearly a year in order to get Brother Faith and/or Father Sean.

Regardless of whether an event starts today, I'm just doing the railyard. Everyone else will go on 24 hour task. Homer and Lisa usually trigger the events anyway. If not I'm good with starting tomorrow. There's always the store option to fall back on too.

But now I only have 24 hours left to decide if I should buy donuts for the first time in nearly a year in order to get Brother Faith and/or Father Sean.

Brother Faith is worth getting. I'd skip Fr. Sean for now.

I only got around 5000 on first pass. Need a bunch of cans but everyone is tied up for another hour.
