Thanks, I also don't see how people run out of space. They probably do huge designs for every building though, so it is their fault really.
I've tried really hard to condense everything in my town while keeping it looking as neat and presentable as i can, none of my houses have gardens (except The Simpson house), the only two parts of my town that eat up space is the Valentines Island (which will be demolished soon and replaced with something much smaller) and the centre of my town with the Sunsphere (which i have no plans on changing as i really like it's final design). I do have alternative plans though, the only downside to that is it will take a stupendous amount of time to do :)
I want more land so I can have better designs as mine are not that good at the moment. And also the fact that I will need it soon.
Some of us are also short on land and not making major designs. It's by having every single building offered within the game! I only have a few build out places, and only have a few plots of unused land. I want to make something neat, but then when the next level or major content update hits, then it would be time to scrap it
Yeah, I suppose so. I started on android last year. But between October 2013 to beginning of January 2014 I couldn't play so I didn't get a lot of money nor did I have a lot when I got my game back. I think players right from the beginning on apple who buy a lot of the premium items won't have much room left, but a lot who have been playing as long as I have, shouldn't really complain. I see people with 4-5 plots of land filled with parking spaces, which they could get rid of if they needed to.
True, but I feel the parking adds realism to the design. While pointless since vehicles are limited/don't function, it's still adds the effect to the building. Same thing can be said with a forest, parks, etc. Typically all custom designs, taking up land space, but again it's showing a uniqueness to the town and still adds realism there as well.
My town has almost no rivers for the time being. I'm so cramped that I typically discard the water. I always had ideas for using it, but with my current design and incredibly limited space, I have scraped it.
