Geek Con/Romance Festival gone bad

Hello
Next time that there is a festival in that location, have your sim attend the festival and remain there right to the end of the festival. Have them remain there until all the items have disappeared.

I am having this exact same problem.

Same problem with The Spice Festival and Flea Market. I left The Spice Festival before it ended the last time it was there and I think thats what did it. If I remember, when The Flea Market was placed on top, I tried to finish that but it only removed The Flea Market. Just waiting for another Spice Festival so I can try and see it out to the end. Actually, can anyone remember what day it's on?
Note: repairing game hasn't helped.

Oops. EA messed that up then...

So, if we don't stay to the end of each festival, our games are going to be looking like that?

Hopefully it gets fixed. I wonder if it could be a mod issue.

Im afraid not. I never have and probably never will use mods. Ive seen something like this before in another thread too but not sure where it was now.

Hooray it worked. The Spice Festival appeared on a Friday around 5 and I sent my sim to it. Stayed until the end and everything started to disappear. If you have two on top of each other, stay until the end of each and they seem to go. The game will remove the festival you are currently at if you stay till the end and you will need to visit the other one separately to remove that (by staying to the end). Frustrating that this has to happen but at least it seems to have a fix.
When I stayed until the end of The Spice Festival, I waited until everything had disappeared too just to make sure but usually, leaving once the objects start to disappear tends to make all festivals disappear totally for next time I visit the area.
