Kindle Fire issues?
I got the Easter update 1 day after on my Kindle. But try uninstalling and re-installing.

I got the update the same day. Once it was posted that the update had arrived I went to Amazon and just had to uninstall and reinstall. I haven't had any connection errors with my Kindle Fire.
