Kindle Fire takedown issues

I use the kindle fire, and have had no update issues so far

I've tried everything too, I'm guessing for some reason Amazon haven't released takedown yet. I usually get any updates immediately.

Well, they finally took the update lock off. I at least got to log in before heading to bed, so I'm only losing about 8 hours instead of nearly a full day :P

Mostly lost time I was going to work on finishing my badlands while my wife was busy on the computer. I played one of her games on her tablet instead :lol:

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. This is the first I've seen of others having this issue. I reinstalled twice but nothing!

Is it fixed now at all for anyone?

On mine I am back to normal, update only available an hour ago though

Am reading this en route to work so I can't check my kindle for 12 hours ha ha. Pleased to hear we can get back in at least!

It's now fixed, the same issue has been posted on the EA answer HQ and I think that's the best way to bring it to their face.

Unfortunately this quite possibly isn't an EA issue but an Amazon problem and completely out of the control of EA.
