The reason they came up as 0 tickets/money is cause you first unlock the palm trees in krustyland and you unlock the fleet a pitas in Springfield first so you can sell the trees in KL and the fleet a pitas in SF.
Appreciate your reply but think you may be wrong here... I had them on my beach long before Krustyland was introduced to the game. The palm trees became available with Squidport, (released 12 June 2013), whereas Krustyland became available 4 September 2013 :? :? I never thought about putting them in my inventory to sell them in Krustyland though, will try that :)
