If this is true I hope this means that all their tasks would change into money tasks.

Hey look I was just relaying a message that an EA representative told me it was already proved in this thread that their doing work in Sydney and also Kodos name is on the character list theres gotta be truth in it. He just said that the Halloween themed Simpsons will come to an end involving kang, the beacon and Kodos. Also soon you will be able to build the marina with sea captain and his house boat and burns casino that is all he mentioned to me take it as you wish. By the way someone mentioned above that they were in east gardens 2 weeks ago well they were having a tournament this week on FIFA 2013 to win nmberous prizes that's why I was down there that day to participate in the tournament. By the way I lost haha

If this is true, then it would be a nice addition

it makes sense to unite Kang and Kodos. Reason it would seem odd is that if you need Kang to get Kodos it would have been nice to get a heads up that donuts need to be spent for ray gun (But I guess they could built that into the end mission)
If you don't need Kang, then you would have a lonely Kodos in your town.

I just hope it DOESN'T HAPPEN. Well, unless it happens today when I get home if I have power..

I didn't buy the ray gun, so I don't have kane. An ending only for people who spent money doesn't really make sense... freemium games aren't supposed to favor paying users (they do but not as blatantly), you're supposed to be able to play the game just as efficiently with or without doling out cash.
If this really does happen, I'm gonna be so effing mad about not buying Kang...
