of all the things to speed up, why that?

The rig doesn't do anything except sit in the water with oil leaking into the harbor. Since no boats can actually move, no crews can get out there to clean it up. I have dead birds all over the place, and the EPA is getting pissed. No tasks for anyone either, although, it looks kinda neat sitting there. Okay, I lied, all that stuff I said about the oil leak was BS, but, there still aren't any tasks. It's just another dead piece of property in town.. Doesn't even generate any cash flow. Keep your donuts/cash in your pocket, and buy something better.

I'm not planning on spending donuts on that. Just thought maybe there was a faster way of getting it. I guess I'll just start saving for a month :p. After I get everything. And buy some space hehe.

I just like the way it looks lol, but yeah its really expensive.

It's funny that you should post this today as I had literally just bought it moments before coming here. I had accumulated over 92M in cash (thanks to lots of wailing walls and tennis courts :wink: ) and was wondering what to spend it on. Since I have a large expanse of ocean, I decided to get the Krusty Burger Oil Rig and placed it across from Krusty's mansion.

I've been saving for that for months, since it was released. I get up to about $7Mil, and they release a new level or strip of land and i have to delay it again.

I'm at $7M again, today in fact. So I'm pretty certain there's going to be a new level released any minute! Just how sadistic this game seems to be.

If you want something "quicker", there's only one way, spend real cash and buy donuts. Something I'll NEVER do. Sadists don't deserve my money.

I disagree, I think it's really cool looking. It's one of the few Aspirationals I have out just because I like it and not just for "cred."

I saved up for it back last winter. I think it is very cool looking. And you don't find many neighbors that have one. It is kind of unique because it does take a lot of effort to get it.

I'm not planning on spending $80-$100 on that item. Just wanted to know if there was a faster way of getting it without having to spend donuts on the item.
