But that info in that post doesn't contradict what I was saying... Once someone moves into Issue 2, they'll only earn pies, not rods. HOWEVER, if they haven't moved into Issue 2, they'll still earn rods until they finish Issue 1 and move into Issue 2. I think you're confusing when Issue 2 *starts* (which depends on where an individual player's game is at) and when Issue 2 *becomes available* for players who are done with Issue 1. Basically, what they did was to institute a gagging factor, to prevent folks from getting too far ahead in the event to quickly, to prevent having people sit around for a couple of weeks down the road comparing that they were bored because they'd finished everything already (which kind of happened with the CoC event.
Of course, we'll know for sure what the situation is tomorrow! :)
