Along with the Gods : The Two World's (2017). This Korean film is the second most viewed domestic film in the history of Korea. The premise of the film, which you would be told right in the beginning, is that once a person passes away, he will go through 7 Courts of hell to determine his reincarnation outcome in 49 days. Each court will address the severity of the sin it handles and determines the appropriate punishment or acquittal.
This star studded film is ladened with CGI and some are quite good. The background story of the person under trial will unravel like a mystery as the film progresses. There are some comedic moments and also touching moments. Overall, it is just an ok film for me. I did go away feeling like there are more goodness I need to strive for.
