Launching neighbors space shuttle

Same thing with the flicking spotlights in other towns.

Nothing.

Do you understand how the game functions? I'll explain:

Everyone has a database. When you log in, you load the data. It synchronizes with your device to share data concerning changes you make while you play.

When you visit a neighbor, you pull in their database. But it doesn't synch any changes you make, back to their database.

That'd be a nightmare! Dozens of people, daily, modifying your personal database?? Ugh. Talk about chance for screw ups.

After you visit, you leave and the db dumps from your device. The only thing that synchs is your personal counters, based on the few actions you took that are counted.

Hopefully this makes more sense now. And if you were already aware of this, i didn't mean to insult your intelligence.
  • Launching your neighbours rocket is purely for the amusement of the person tapping it, neither you or the rocket owner get anything for doing it, all you can see is either the rocket launch or blow up on the pad, there are a few items in your neighbours that you can interact with but at the moment all that I can think of are the transporters and the new year drop ball , I'm sure that some others on here will list some of the other interactive decorations for you.

You can send your neighbor's submarine to look for squidport tiles.
  • 4junk3000 is correct but has given quite a technical explanation.

Just in case, what he means is that you access a "copy" of your neighbour's town, you don't actually access their town directly and can't make changes to it (unless it's a friend interaction that's allowed by the game such as tapping a building to collect money, that's it).

    Also welcome to the forum!
  • Wiggum's tank, fire hydrants and the best interactive thing.... monorail

Thanks, I've actually been around a long time. I just read though.
