Yeah, think I will ignore the stupid Gil task for the second 24hr of hating him, besides Black Friday has nothing for me. Don't want to miss the mini quest because Homer won't be free till tomorrow to do a tasks that gets me nothing.

you are not alone in having issues. I cant do the feast with puritan flanders either
