- Fair warning: my lemon tree is not worth your life.

I apologise in advance for this post
Steel is an alloy of iron and a small amount of carbon. Carbon is the primary alloying element, and its content in the steel is between 0.002% and 2.1% by weight. Too little carbon content leaves (pure) iron quite soft, ductile, and weak. Carbon contents higher than those of steel make an alloy commonly called pig iron that is brittle and not malleable.
steal. the taking of another person's property without that person's permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it.
Sorry again to be 'that guy'
We do have a metal Christmas tree now... But I don't think you're referring to that

Nope, you're correct. My bad. At least my misspelled word was consistently misspelled throughout the post :D
Note to self: Start rereading your post before selecting the Submit Button.- Only if it was like the graffiti and told us who took it ;-). I see lots of people stealing one then defriending said person. It's one way to clear your neighbor's list.
- Absolutely not ! Love my lemon tree :)
And I personally don't think that stealing anything should be part of this game. drumnman wrote:
If this was implemented, I would put my tree in inventory until EA came to their senses and removed this "feature."
I seem to recall that you had to plant your Lemon Tree with 24 hours of getting it. The ability to steal the Lemon Tree prevented me from getting friends. I spent a good amount of donuts on mystery boxes trying to win one. I then read in this forum about people who would steal your Lemon Tree and then immediately unfriend you.
Please do not re-implement this feature. It was a really neat idea that didn't work in practice.
It might work better if all of your neighbors are actually friends in real life, but I don't think that is the case with most players. Out of the almost 100 neighbors that I have, I know exactly 3 of them (and one is only a passing acquaintance).- It would be horrible if you made a landscape and the lemon tree was a focal point, then someone stole it! No gracias.
- I remember those day of stealing lemon trees. Every time some one took mine, I would go through my friends list just to steal it from someone else and try to hide it as best as I could.
- Meh. If it gets stolen you can always drink turnip juice.
- don't even think of touching my Lemon tree!
- DO NOT WANT. Don't bring that back.
I did start back when you could steal it. But I was only friends with people I know IRL and they didn't know you could steal the lemon tree. And I never ever told them. LOL. I did make a point of shoving my tree in a corner in a forest. It stressed me out more than I should admit so I never ever want that ability back. Because everyone on my friends list that I don't know IRL will be deleted. Kind of discourages social play.
I believe they took it away because people were spending donuts to win one and then complaining when someone stole it. I think the only way to bring it back would be to refund donuts to people who spent them and make it available for in game dollars. Doesn't seem likely, does it?
