No problems an hour ago, now the origin logo is gone and all my friends. I did just get into my town. I leave it logged in all the time, not sure if this is a good idea, but the one and only time I logged out purposefully I had my game start over and had no origin logo.
With the recent server troubles I have been bumped off/logged off by the issue, and when everyone gets the origin logo back I can log in again.
Sigh.
