I've gotten a bit more choosier as well. I only buy the premium characters I really like and if the decoration doesn't come with a fair multiplier, I pass. Exceptions would only be made for things I just have to have, but if the multiplier was really low, I'd be encouraged to pass even if I really like it.

Events used to come with 20 donut 2% multiplier items. Haven't see those since xmas.
