Thanks mate, I enjoy our conversations too, very entertaining
i'll second emmcee1...still entertaing as he11 - This is wonderful!! Most of the time, I understand the frustration that goes around since everyone is so invested in their town (it is "life-ruiningly fun," right? lol), but I appreciate the positive posts way more.
I am a long time lurker on the forum site (been in since the beginning, but don't post much) and am most appreciative of all the tips, especially the people who take the time to give guides on how to proceed through the tasks, and the people who post wonderful ideas of what to do in your Springfield.
Most "issues" I have had can be solved by coming to this forum and doing a quick search. It helps to calm the panic! :D
So, thanks to everyone! deomegus wrote:

My husbands' favorite saying is "You can't fix stupid." He's from Texas and they have a language all their own.
I said that to our sons' 4th grade teacher about a parent who was driving her nuts (I'm very close to the staff at his school) and she almost fell out of her chair laughing. (Made her feel better and that was my whole goal)lissarv68 wrote:

This is such a nice thread.. gives you a nice warm fuzzy feeling inside, not dissimilar to eating a tasy bowl of warm honey oats. Its a great change from all the forum negativity. Love it!
It's only a couple of people being negative all the time, you guys really shouldn't let them affect you or your enjoyment of each other and this forum.
Just ignore any threads they start or post in, that's what I do.
Can't let those with a cloud of doom and gloom constantly over their heads make it rain where you are, :D
(This is in response to all the posts about forum negativity, it really isn't all that bad. Not like other places I've seen or even places I've worked in)mec06 wrote:

Very True, it actually isnt too bad, but good advice to ignore any negativity I do come across. Thanks!
However, now all I can visualize is what it would be like if everyone had a cloud over thier head which provided an indication of thier mood, I wonder if it would make people more naturally happy if they knew sadness or anger would result in them being rained on..
LOL that would be awesome!
"Oh look, Susie has a dark gloom cloud over her head. I should stay away from her unless I want to be rained on."
I think more people would try to be happy otherwise they would be alone all the time.
