You'll get a lot of MAG points by progressing along main prize track. Since the monster fights aren't working, you'll get the most film reels by opening up job slots...through the MAG track...which you need film reels to progress along the main track to earn MAG points...
Outside of buying the new items that award MAG points and film reels, you can also earn MAG points by crafting, which you need job slots to help earn more coins to craft with - which requires MAG points to open ><
Extra bonus, you won't get ANY MAG points for the lower level crafting since they'd given us many of those objects before and the old items won't award MAG points.
I'm already hating the interface of this event.
