Mall-o-Rail Modules Design Help

Mine is a mess atm.....if i place too muc h track etc the game freezes, so hoping i can design after the event.

Try looking in the Showcase se tion, usually some awesome designs there to give you ideas.

I for one had a tougher time with the mall add ons then I did with the others. Didn't even add the stairs, like you said it went nowhere really. Tried in the front but it made no sense, tried behind the tracks and it didn't fit so I said screw it and left it in the inventory. Figure they can just walk through the front door then when finished they can walk back out the front door.

But ah well.... When in doubt, add trees

So I see I'm not the only one struggling! And also have that issue with rail tracks creating big freezes when attached to stations, so I removed most of them...
I also think I'm gonna remove the 2nd stairs, and it goes something like this:


And when I kept the 2 stairs, I put one in front and one in back of the station, which yes, it might be dangerous for people to get in! or might have to cross the tracks!

No, one is for entering, the other is for exiting. No crossing the tracks involved.

I've had problems with the layout of all my stations. Some of the extension pieces don't fit in logically because their seat faces the wrong way (who sits on a platform facing away from the track?) or because their railings are in the wrong place. In the fullness of time, when this event is over, I think my stations will be shrinking. I've also had a lot of trouble with stairs. They take up a lot of space, and it's hard to fit two sets in somewhere that makes sense in the context of a station layout.
