maximizing bells for both you and your neighbor

and this probably goes without saying but feel free not to tap my town unless my door and canon are ready to be tapped. If you want the lesser bell rewards tap away, I don't need the cash and am not going to remove any neighbors for not tapping.

I wanted to ask a question. Usually when I visit a neighbor the Canon has a bell which I always go for along with the elf door bell. Just now I saw the fuse on top of the cannon instead of the usual bell. When I tapped on the fuse the Canon fired the elves in the bottles. Did I just waste one of my neighbors cannon blasts? Barry... Sorry neighbour if I did in fact waste one if your 3 blasts. First time that happened...

you did not waste Barry's canon blast and gave him 5 bells!

EDIT: wait that is a good question. I'm thinking, isn't it always a fuse not a bell over the Canon? I've yet to have canon interruptus.

2nd EDIT: I went through a bunch of towns. found 5 canons all were fuses, so canons do not have bells.

I've had a handshake on a cannon ready to fire, and it basically cleared itself and then I fired the cannon.

I wasn't sure because I have experienced both the bell and the fuse on top of cannons. What worried me is when I tap the fuse the cannon starts firing. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM.... I will continue going for cannons and elf doors as long as it's giving my neighboreenos the bonus bells. Merry Tapping Christmas!

I haven't seen a bell yet above anyone's cannon; only nothing or the fuse. The great thing is these 2 items pay the visitor double compared to other items and the visited person receives bells too. Win win! :D
