According to Yahoo! ... yet more evidence that EVERYTHING CAUSES CANCER. These articles are ridiculous.
One day they say alcohol's good for you, the next they say it's bad. They say video games make people violent, then they say they help with hand-eye coordination, cooperation, and overall brain function.
How does this crap get in the news.

Simply put, because we live in a society based on fear-mongering. It's what promotes the economy (everything from prescription drugs to college tuition), controls the population (for the most part), and allows the government to do less than honorable things and take advantage overseas (the Iraq War and Halliburton's massive profits in relation).
This report that all this stuff causes cancer is merely a form of that. There are research studies released everyday, often with different results and outcomes. The best way to analyze those results are to see what lab, university, political or even religious group funded those studies. Most of the time, the results are going to benefit the people who fund it, even when it's not the truth.
