I moved the cauldron right next to the HQ building for the time being so I can't miss it. When the event ends I will move it back. I almost always do this during events. I don't like to forget it because I've come up with 5 elder gods so far. I'll take a free 5% anytime!
Right now I have the chili cauldron in the junkyard at Frink's Lab which is right across the street from the secret agent area and I still tend to forget about it. It travels with Homer wherever he goes so hopefully I won't forget to play it. Sometimes I have him on his 8 hour task going insane just so I can't possibly forget. More elder gods and cane fields are always wecome. :)
