I doubt this was meant as a troll post.
There are times when people get a mini update because for whatever reason their game version doesn't match up the current version. This was probably that, if you say you got an update with nothing in it? I believe you. This is different than claiming to have a phantom content update that nobody else has gotten.
I can understand your frustration.
Every time I see that there is an update in the App Store? I get a little excited then find out it's another app.
