Bart is assigned to the tree house. Put that into storage instead. If he doesn't appear, he's likely on a task in Krustyland (known glitch). Check each ride to see if he's in there somewhere.

Still missing Kang since early Tuesday.

The only two you can't store the building are is homer and Lisa. Homer was the first character and Lisa is attached to the simpsons house. You can store the Simpson house :(

My kang has been gone for a long time now. :( I tried putting the ufo in my inventory but that didn't work. Any other ideas..?

Normally you need to store all items to do with a character as they are interconnected, from what I remember from some threads last year.

So try putting the ray gun and the crashed UFO into your inventory and bring them both out.

One other thing I've noticed since the Halloween update is that the characters are sometimes wandering outside of the playing area/land purchased, I had Herman wander off into the mountains at the back Springfield and disappear. he turned up in my game a little later. You can also try closing the app down and re-launching as well as that can resolve some issues as well.
