Missing tasks Martin/Ralph/No.2

No - I took the free islands out of storage.

These characters were all on long tasks when the new update hit today. They all finished just now and that's when I noticed it.

I force quit my game - went to Krustyland etc. and the situation is still the same.

It might just be a glitch. I sent Dr Hibbert on a task and Ice Princess Martin's 12h task came back.

Ea are really giving us a run for our money these days! :-)

Edit: left my town, went back and Martin's task has vanished again. :shock:

LHR they're still there for me.
IPM has 3 jobs only now.
#2 still has all his jobs.
are you sure you didn't put Ice Palace and Toy Workshop and whatever missing item from Stonecutters that were in the jobs for #2 in storage?

This just got stranger. I had not put anything in storage.
Toy Workshop is still there.

Now a huge chunk of my town has completely cleared - decorations and all.

Stonecutters Lodge, Make-A-Thing, Fort sensible, Giuseppe's Workshop - a white house...

Opening and closing my game does nothing. Nothing in inventory. The rest of the town is fine.

Now I'm getting the Bart Screen.

I hope I don't have to go on Live Chat.

Try reinstalling the game, if not then contact EA

I noticed that about Martin as well, but my Ralph is currently on his 24 hour of jamming the assembly line.

I uninstalled. Re-installed. The same area is still clear - apart from 6 shrubs and some flowers.

I have heard of people losing a building before but this is a new one on me. (sigh) I'll contact EA.

What am I missing? I have never had a four hour task for Number 2. Always a jump between the two hour task and the eight hour task.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of Number 1? Number 1 has never had a four-hour task, but Number 2 has Re-Jig Waiting Lists as his four-hour task.

I have no idea about the original question, as I didn't get the Ice Palace, and all my characters are currently on 24-hour tasks.

On a related note, I think I screwed up with the ice palace quest line. I thought I was done and so I updated only to see on the forum event outline that I was in fact only about half way through (never got the prompt for the ice sculptors). Since I updated I haven't seen any other prompts even though Lisa (who's supposed to start that) free.

Has anyone ever done something like this? Any way to get it to continue? Or am I out of luck since it seems to have been considered part of the event?
