Been playing for a few years. Do almost every event to completion. But can't wrap my brain around this one. The in game guide is of no use, and between Norbert's tasks, the various items to collect and the plague, it is hard to know what is really happening. Even the airplane tickets seem to have no logic. Where do they come from? How do I get them? They just seem to be random.As for prizes, the system just seems bugged. Today my wife got Norbert as a character and a plane, that I have not gotten. Meanwhile, I got my globe weeks ago and she has yet to get one. I still enjoy the game and have invested too much time and money in it to probably ever quit. But if I was brand new to this game, I would have quit during this event (and in fact, know a few people who did).

I've never found the in-game guide for events very useful; I rely on the smart people posting on this forum about strategy to help me understand what is really going on.As for the globe, I really, really wish our storage had an event category (like Springfield Heights is a category) because that globe could be Anywhere - it is too easy to hit "store" instead of "place", and then Good Luck finding it. Those painted houses to craft are the worst to locate. If all fails, contact EA.

I register here and on LP site specifically for guides. Without these resources it would be almost like playing in the dark trying to figure out these events.

I look at the guides but I wouldn't say I understand everything afterwards. I become more familiar the more I play the event. Sad but true.

I actuall think it is exactly the same as the previous 3-5-7 (???) events.

3 acts. Get some "visitors" in your town to tap (tourists, burglers, elves...), and also to tap in friends towns. Crafting currency and crafting, 4 hour tasks, get a price when you collected enough main currency in 5-6 levels, then bonuts.

It is only the prices, visitors and crafting items that changes. I think that is why there are so many events, easy programming, just change the items (pictures). All the rest is the same.

@jukan00 9/10 LPN does put up on here what new stuff gets added in plus what leaves the game too.

He does, but in the past the programmers have drawn attention to it by an in-game announcement or even a simple highlighted number on the store button so that you know there's a new or additional item. They haven't been doing that. The only way I've realized there was something new was to come to the forum and read about it. My husband, who doesn't read the forums, never knows unless I tell him.
